All images have been captured by the NASA Landsat-7 satellite and are provided courtesy of NASA. Many of these pictures of the earth are strikingly beautiful, and reveal hidden structures and forms in the geography of the earth that are not apparent from a land-based perspective. Through the use of artificial colours, patterns in the land can be highlighted and brought to life in a new way.
